In the evening hours of September 23rd, members of the Upperco Volunteer Fire Company responded to a call for a residential fire in Hampstead area. A full contingent of equipment and personnel from UVFC(E851 & E852) responded to the call.

UVFC members hold RIT (Rapid Intervention Training) at Arcadia facilities

Sunday, August 25, 2019 Members of the Upperco Volunteer Fire Company attended a session for RIT (Rapid Intervention Training) a refresher class taught By Doug Brinkley, Division Cheif BWI Airport.

The training covered all aspects of Rapid Intervention including calling a MAYDAY, Radio Discipline, Focusing on Your Assignment, Personnel Rescue Demonstrations, via video and RIT Team assignments. Also ... (Full Story & Photos)

On Monday evening, August 19th, Members of the Upperco Volunteer Fire Company held a Rural Water Resource training at Outside Unlimited Landscaping in a large pond on their property in Upperco. The training was led by Training officer, LT Scott Boose

UVFC Responds to MVC BUS vs Motorcycle on Marshall Mill road

Friday, 7/26/19, Members of UVFC responded to a motor vehicle accident on the 1700 block of Marshal Mill Road involving a school bus and a motorcycle.
The patient was attended to by crews from Upperco and Carroll County and was transported to Fifth District Elementary school where he was flown to shock Trauma via medivac. The school bus was carrying three students, fortunately, no one on the school ... (Full Story & Photos)
