On Thursday, May 30th at 5:42 PM, members of the Upperco Volunteer Fire Company along with Equipment from two other area fire companies responded to a Motor vehicle accident with Rescue after a car traveling north on Dover Road was struck on the driver’s side roof by a falling tree limb. Units from the Upperco Volunteer Fire Company 85, Ambo 855 and Engine 851, were dispatched to an accident involving a Baltimore County Public School bus and a passenger car on Rt. 30 & 1st Ave, just past Emory Road in the merge lane on Rt. 30.

No Caption Upperco Prepares to Kick off our 2019 Derby Season!

President Scott boose, April 20

On Saturday May 11th we will kick off our 2019 Demolition Derby season. Gates will open at 1pm. and new for this year we will start racing at 3pm. As always there will be plenty of food available at our concession stands. Bring your lawn chair or blanket as there is plenty of lawn seating available. Upperco Community Gives Back

On April 5, 2019, Upperco Volunteer Fire Company responded to a mutual aid call in Hampstead, MD for a rescue. When units arrived, they found 27 dogs and 11 deceased dogs. Several of our volunteers describe the scene as one of the worst they have ever assisted. The surviving dogs were transported to the Humane Society of Carroll County, where they are being treated. Members from your Upperco Volunteer Fire Company were called to assist in a welfare check that took an unfortunate turn of events for our canine friends. The initial call came in at approximately 4 PM on Friday, April 5, 2019.
