On Monday evening, August 19th, Members of the Upperco Volunteer Fire Company held a Rural Water Resource training at Outside Unlimited Landscaping in a large pond on their property in Upperco. The training was led by Training officer, LT Scott Boose
members from the senior company, as well as a few from The Junior Company, attended the training which included Drafting with utility Brush truck 858 and using the Dry hydrant to draft from the pond using pumper 851. Training included the use of Dry Hydrant among other various stationary nozzles and hose connections. Other members of the senior company assisted Lt Boose in the successful training. LT Boose has a number of ongoing trainings regularly scheduled throughout the rest of the year.
