UVFC Presents the William C. Belt Memorial Scholarship

A life member of Boring Vol. Fire Co. Mr. William C. Belt, bequeathed upon his passing, a large sum of money to the Boring Fire Company. At that time, The Boring Board of Directors, decided that the money would be marked and designated to be used for a scholarship. The funds designated for the William C. Upperco volunteers gathered tonight for a duty crew evening consisting of a great dinner followed by an evening of training! Upperco personnel participated in rural water training, while our neighbors from the north at the Hampstead VFC came by to practice their forcible entry skills using the training prop.

Box 85-20 Wildland Fire

On Monday, February 12, 2024 at approximately 5:30pm, units were alerted for a reported large wildland fire in the area of Gunpowder Rd and Pleasant Meadow Rd in Upperco.

No Caption Box 85-1 Motor Vehicle Collision

Upperco and Hampstead VFC units were alerted at 6:05 PM on Sunday 1/7 for a serious motor vehicle collision on Hanover Pike (Rte. 30) at Bortner Rd. Units arrived to find a serious two-vehicle crash involving a pickup truck and a passenger vehicle. UVFC hosts “Dinner with Santa”

On the rainy evening of Sunday December 17th, Upperco volunteers hosted members of our community for a special spaghetti dinner with Santa at the Upperco Yuletide Village!

The young and young-at-heart came out in droves in spite of the wicked weather outside to join Upperco volunteers and Jolly Old St. Nick for a fantastic evening of food, fun, and fellowship, with smiles all around.
