The Upperco Volunteer Fire Company and Upperco Motorsports will hold a new event called "Beltways & Backroads" on July 10 and 11, 2026. This event will feature a large truck, car, and Jeep show. Upperco volunteers hosted our first Demolition Derby of the year yesterday, and it was a great time!

Your volunteers spent the day serving food, drinks, working the track and the pit, and providing fire and EMS services for the racers, crews, fans, and the community, responding to calls in the area.

Earlier this evening, your local Upperco volunteers, along with volunteer and career personnel from many neighboring departments, were dispatched to the 3800 block of Black Rock Rd in Upperco for a report of a barn on fire.

Units arrived to find a fire inside a dilapidated barn structure, and made a defensive attack, preventing fire spread to several nearby structures.

Upperco hosted its annual Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 12, 2025. The Upperco Volunteers were prepared for guests at 8:00 a.m. with a menu designed for all to enjoy. Santa Claus arrived shortly after and greeted children throughout the morning. The Grinch also made an appearance, adding excitement to the festivities.
