Upperco and Hampstead VFC units were alerted at 6:05 PM on Sunday 1/7 for a serious motor vehicle collision on Hanover Pike (Rte. 30) at Bortner Rd. Units arrived to find a serious two-vehicle crash involving a pickup truck and a passenger vehicle. Units provided patient care and scene control and one patient was transported to an area trauma center. BCoPD continued to search for the driver of the pickup truck who fled the scene prior to the arrival of emergency services.
